THE KISS is the contribution of Urban Pilgrims by Monika Zabel. She interprets the theme of the exhibition, "connecting borders", by using the peaceful term kiss as a symbol to connect people within and beyond borders. THE KISS has hand quilted the word on a silken caftan in the graphic letters of hangeul.
She applied local art&craft, zero waste, deconstruction/reconstruction, use of end of role/discontinued fabrics, refashioning. THE KISS is a unique piece made for the exhibition.
